This book covers a number of broad topics in technology from a recruiting perspective, however as a non-technology person i found this book painful to read and felt i learned very little from it. Each chapter inundates the reader with acronyms and tedious lists of all possible aspects of a topic. For instance, there is a chapter on sap erp programs that lists out every single possible erp application suit, what it does, and all of the knowledge someone working with it might need. This may seem thorough and ideal but for me all of the lists were filled with unexplained or poorly explained acronyms and certifications necessary for the job. Chapters like this made me feel overwhelmed and confused.
