The credit counselling society (ccs), in partnership with one of the largest school districts in canada, the surrey (bc) school district, embarked on a pilot project. We wanted to find a way to introduce financial literacy topics to students in grades 4 through 7 using lesson plans and teacher resources that are readily available, easy-to-use and available in english and french.
