Every year, marshall undergraduate career services offers several signature programs that help you explore your career options, connect with working professionals, or begin executing your career strategy: throughout the year, we also offer several other events based on student needs and industry trends. We collaborate with marshall student organizations to provide industry-specific workshops, panels, and treks. Further information on these opportunities are made available on our weekly newsletter.

The office of student and career services offers a variety of ways to connect with cleveland-marshall students and alumni, including job postings, formal recruiting programs, career fairs, and networking programs and events. Marshall Career Source 101-RSVP for Events

6:00-6:15 pm – check-in & appetizer reception 6:15-8:00 pm – internship & full-time job opportunities networking session 6:15-8:00 pm – resume reviews by alumni & mentors student registration rsvp via marshall career source (not to be confused with connectsc) sophomores, juniors, and seniors (may 2018 – may 2020 graduates only) that wish to attend the marshall recruiter reception must rsvp online. Registration will be available at 12:01am(pst) on wednesday, january 10th – 11:59pm(pst) on wednesday, january 31st (or until the event reaches capacity). You will access the recruiter reception registration via the “events” tab of marshal gift ideas marshal tea cup gift marshal gift ideas l career source, then select "marshall events", and select rsvp to the "marshall recruiter reception (spring 2018)". Make sure you can log in to marshall career source ahead of time to ensure you can view the event. The first 400 students to rsvp via the marshall career source will be allowed to enter the event at 6pm, and an additional 100 (waitlist) students will be allowed to enter at 7pm. Walk-ins will not be allowed at this event.

Connectsc is hosted by the usc career center. School-branded versions such as marshall career source, viterbi career gateway, annenberg career link and others are in place for most schools. Students are familiar with connectsc as the central online resource for on-campus, part-time, and full-time jobs. Students also use connectsc to conduct mock interviews, store resumes and cover letters, research career-related information, and more.

Careersource central florida’s board of directors is comprised of private sector leadership (51%) representing five counties – lake, orange, osceola, seminole, and sumter; the remaining 49 percent is comprised of representatives from local agencies and institutions as defined in florida and federal statute. The consortium is comprised of one county commissioner each from the five counties that make up region 12, those being sumter, lake, orange, osceola, and seminole counties. Commissioners are chosen to serve by their respective board chairs for a term of one year. The consortium meets no less than two times a year, and approves our annual fiscal year budget, promotes our services, and assists in conducting cscf’s business. The current chair of the consortium is lake county commissioner leslie campione.

September 22, 2020 by press release the local unemployment rate improved in august, but is still much higher than it was at this same time last year, according to a new report from careersource citrus levy marion. The unemployment rate in the careersource citrus levy marion region was 6. 4 percent in august, 3. 2 percentage points lower than in july and 2. 1 percentage points higher than the region’s rate in august 2019. There were 13,020 unemployed in the region, 6,102 fewer than the previous month but still 4,356 more than august 2019.

Continuous recruitment statewide judicial branch job openings judicial district locations: ansonia-milford, danbury, fairfield, hartford, litchfield, middlesex, new britain, new haven, new london, stamford-norwalk, tolland, waterbury, and windham. The judicial branch is seeking entry level applicants interested in starting a career path as a judicial marshal. Minimum requirements are possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency degree. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older. This is an entry level position; extensive experience is not required; military experience or a demonstrated interest in criminal justice is desirable. Applicants selected for interview will be required to meet established physical performance criteria as demonstrated through a physical fitness test, a pre-employment physical, successfully pass a drug screening process as well as a criminal records check and general background check. Selected candidates will be required to attend and pass all phases of an approximately 15 week pre-service academy followed by a course of field training. Skills to be acquired will include handcuffing, use of defensive spray and defensive baton, cpr, first aid, prisoner management, and other skills relevant to the care and custody of prisoners as well as the safety and security of judicial branch staff and users of the courts. The judicial marshal academy will include a physical training regimen to ensure the fitness of candidates for practical training functions. During the training academy, recruits will be required to obtain a commercial driver’s license with the proper endorsements to operate prisoner transportation vehicles.
