Children (3-17): $10 children under 3: free we admit service dogs only, as protected under the americans with disabilities act. We do not allow pets or therapy animals at the gardens. Flamingo gardens is now open with reserved online ticketing. ​tickets are limited, so guests and members are requested to have an online ticket or member reservation to enter at a designated time period. Walk-in admission is available upon a space available basis only and not guaranteed. Broward county mandates that masks be worn in public at all times indoors and outdoors when within 6' of others.
The foundation supports the garden by operating the visitor services center, managing the educational programs, overseeing venue rentals and special events and coordinates on-site filming. With covid keeping us home bound most of the time, we have been exploring tampa bay area parks which we have never been to before as a fairly safe way to get out and about. Last week we visited here. Beautiful gardens. Quite large. Lots of information signs about the plants. Very well maintained. Highly recommend however the florida summer extreme heat makes it difficult to relax and enjoy unless you go when it first opens in the morning. Even then, during the summer months, can be very warm and muggy. If you want to be able to truly enjoy the gardens and take your time walking around, do it sometime between october and april. ….
The botanic garden will be closed from 6pm on friday october 23 in accordance with new coronavirus legislation. After this “ firebreak †lockdown, we will reopen on monday november 9. During this time, we will keep you updated with all the goings-on here and hope to see you all next month.

This four-acre public garden contains a unique blend of pacific northwest native plants and unusual exotics set in a naturalistic wooded setting. It may take multiple visits to see the more than 2,000 species, which include native and exotic conifers, hardwoods, rhododendrons, magnolias, ferns and groundcovers. Several trees are the largest or most rare in the state. Birdwatchers have identified more than 40 bird species while visiting the garden.
Data processing – $11/hr accurately and efficiently input data into a database, sit for extended periods of time, work independently. Basic computer experience desired. Ticket sales associate – $11/hr pleasant personality to sell tickets and direct guests into the garden, sit for extended periods of time in ticket booth. Cash handling and point of sale system experience is a plus but not required.
Now that the garden is open again, you do not need to pre-book to visit us but there are some changes that you will need to be aware of before visiting: for the time being, the coffee shop, glasshouses and butterfly house will not be open to the public. This is to ensure that we abide by coronavirus guidelines.
Our beautiful garden tells the story of plant evolution. The botanic garden is now open to the general public on weekdays. In the short term we will remain closed on saturdays, sundays, and bank holidays due to staff and volunteer shortages at these times. Book a ticket.

Built for the 1915-16 exposition, along with the adjacent lily pond and lagoon, the historic building is one of the largest lath structures in the world. The botanical building plantings include more than 2,100 permanent plants, featuring fascinating collections of cycads, ferns, orchids, other tropical plants and palms. The botanical building also presents some of the park’s vibrant seasonal flower displays.
